You may read your email using a web browser on any computer by browsing to http://www.mybridgemail.com.

To use a mail client use the following instructions to set up your account.

Microsoft Outlook
1. Open Outlook (if the “New Account Wizard” launches skip to step 5)
2. Click on “Tools”
3. Click on “Account Settings”
4. On the Email Tab click on “New”
5. Click the Radio button beside “Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP”
6. Click Next
7. Enter your name as you wish it to be displayed
8. Enter your email address “your_email_address@mybridgemail.com”
9. Enter your password then, enter it a second time in the box below
10. Put a check in the box labeled “Manually configure server…”
11. Click Next
12. Click on the Radio Button beside “Internet Email”
13. Click Next
14. The “User information” should be carried forward from your previous entries if not;
a. Enter your name (step 7 above) and your email address (step 8 above)
15. Enter the Server Information
a. Account type “POP3”
b. Incoming Mail Server “mail.mybridgemail.com”
c. Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) “mail.mybridgemail.com”
16. Enter Logon Information’
a. User Name: Enter your email address “your_email_address@mybridgemail.com” (step 8 above)
b. Password: Enter your password (step 9 above)
17. Click the More Settings button
18. On the Outgoing Server tab;
a. Check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”
b. Click the Radio button beside “Use same account settings as my incoming mail server”
19. Click OK
20. If you want Outlook to remember your password, put a check in the “Remember Password” box
21. Click “Test Settings”
22. Click Next
23. Click Finished

Microsoft Outlook Express
1. Open Outlook Express
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Accounts
4. Click on the Mail tab
5. Click Add
6. Click Mail
7. Enter you name as you wish it to be displayed
8. Click Next
9. Enter you email address “your_email_address@mybridgemail.com”
10. Click Next
11. Choose POP3 as your server type
12. Enter mail.mybridemail.com in the Incoming mail server
13. Enter mail.mybridgemail.com in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
14. Click Next
15. If you email address was not carried forward enter it as your account name “your_email_address@mybridgemail.com”
16. Enter your password
17. If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, put a check in the Remember Password box
18. Click Next
19. Click Finish
20. Click on the account you have just created
21. Click Properties
22. Click the Servers tab
23. Put a check box in the box beside “My server requires authentication”
24. Click Apply
25. Click OK
26. Click Close
